Standard cable TV package for Basic price?

Hey, I know a person that was able to get the Standard TV Comcast cable package with HBO for the Basic package price of $11…. Any ideas how they did that?? I did ask them and all they told me is you have to deal with them whatever that means. Thanks

You can get basic cable for about that price but that will only get you your local channels and some basic cable channels like CNN, COMEDY network, FOX SPORTS, ESPN, TNT, OR NICK but i have never heard of someone getting HBO for that amount.

What’s the cheapest Optimum Cable TV package, and how many channels are there in it?

Financial constraints! Just economizing since things are getting a bit difficult around here. I’d like to be aware of the cheapest package and additional details before I call them, and also I don’t want to be misled into believing that there is no other package.

Try an online search for cable providers in your area. A local tv guide listing may list the different providers (for different channel lists). Satellite usually have competive packages, but require contracts and equipment purchases like receivers, but I would still look at them too – they have stations listed for each package.

How about the telephone,internet and cable tv package in Edmonton?

Please let me know of this as this is a new concept to me. I heard that these three comes as a cable package in Edmonton. Please let me know which package is worth and from which service provider. My basic usage is a broadband 256kbps and certainly a landline and mobile for me and my wife and most of our calls will be long distance, made to India or UK or USA and the cable tv that provides Indian channels. Can anyone help me with these details?
