    Shouldn’t be a problem. I ran up to 50 foot ones in my school with minimal degradation.

    No. The length of the cable will not affect the speed of your internet connection.

    No it shouldnt be a problem. Cat 5 cables are good for more than 100m.

    Cat 5 cables should not even be noticable. What you have to be wary of is running longer coax cables. They will degrade your performance.

    Yes the length of the cable will decrease signal transmission speeds, but no the effects will not be noticeable on anything under a few hundred feet.

    There is a limit to how far you can run, but there won’t be any reduction in speed over a given distance, when you consider the signal is moving along at roughly 186,000 miles/sec.
